College social life revolves around the Junior and Middle Common Rooms, for undergraduate and postgraduate members respectively.
Both Common Rooms have annually elected committees who plan social activities in college and help run student facilities such as the college bar.
The Common Rooms are places to socialize with other students, read the newspapers, watch television, enjoy live music, and dance at regular college 'bops'.

The committee members of both Common Rooms are able to provide information on student issues in general, and they represent students on the College Governing Body, which is composed of Fellows of the College. In turn they are a channel of communication from senior members in the College to junior members.
